Dall’Igna delighted with Ducati line-up for 2014

New Ducati boss Gigi Dall’Igna reckons Ducati could not have better riders than Andrea Dovizioso and Cal Crutchlow to revive its fortunes in MotoGP. Ducati has endured a torrid recent history in MotoGP and remains winless since the end of 2010, while last season was a disaster with Dovizioso and Nicky Hayden scoring only two top six finishes each. Dovizioso has remained...

Well he would say that

wouldn't he CHR?

Opinion on Cal ... “Cal is really funny but he is very important to have inside the box because he helps us smile.''

That's a positive for bike development then eh Gigi ?

Cal Doesn't care Alex

He's laughing all the way to the Bank!

Joking apart Alex - good luck with lotw's fantasy league.    After wrestling with my conscience for a bit I decided it was just a bit of fun .... so I'm back in!

We need a few more of the regulars ... unless they're entering under different names.

If they can push each other as hard as they did at tech3 it should be good for the development of the bike. Even if it's not it'll be fun to watch

While it's good to see some progress at Ducati for Cal and Dovi, the bike is not much different from the 2013 version. A lot of the "progress" comes from changing to the "Open" spec. Let's hope that running the "Open" spec will give Ducati more opportunities to develop something really competitive for 2015. In the meantime I pray that Cal will not "over ride" the bike and start crashing. John Hopkins was a classic example of trying too hard to make up for an un-competitive bike!

How? The Open spec will benefit them as the season progresses. It's made no difference yet. Dovi was slightly slower on the Open spec bike in testing.
