Honda shocks with new NM4 Vultus

Don’t be fooled by the futuristic styling and concept bike looks, this is a full production bike from Honda called the NM4 Vultus which has just been officially announced. The looks are going to be something of an opinion divider for sure and it remains unclear why Honda has done something as oddball as this when the Honda DN-01 was such...

Vultus...Stealth Bomber wannabe

The new Honda Vultus NM4, looks kind funky in the matt black, but, take that colour away and it'll be just another mis-match bike that'll have onwers soon losing interest.:sleep:zzzzzzz

A few places Honda seem to have either cut corners or simply been confounded as what to do with the design are the handlebars... not very futuristic to go with the rest of the bike are they? Maybe could have been cast ally.

The exhaust could have been incorporated a little better to flow with the stealth looks and finally the fron end.

Conventional R.W.U forks ? On this ? Crazy !!!

U.S.D units with RAD CALS would have at least given the bike a better look.

In fact, Honda should have gone all out and gone along the route of hub centre steering.......Oh and the rear swingarm should have been a single side unit...Close Honda but again as with the DN-01 no cigar...

You never learn.......

Particle Projection Canons are an interesting choice

I've have gone with pulse lasers in those shoulder mounts, but hey, let's transform it into Mecha Walker mode and see how it fares in battle against the Inner Sphere lances.

Oh, Honda, you so crazy.  Might as well have called it the DN-2.0

Honda

...dont give **** what we think. This is for the Indian an Oriental markets where they will sell thousands. A month. And start a new customising craze.

So you can either get with the program and re-think your expectations, or get left behind like the Neanderthals we all are in the motorcycle-world.

This is actually a better, low-cost idea to build a DN-replacement on what is going to be fundamentally an established platform.

If the price is right it deserves to do well.

Honda

Reshape the excellant back rest so it's comfortable, make the screen larger and adjustable and fit proper fairing lowers. Or better still develop the DN the same!

think honda needs to step away from the table and put down the cracxk pipe. The DN01 aka the dunno1 was a resounding flop here in australia. We sold these for well under cost price as no one was interested in them....what makes the crack heads at honda think that these will be any different...

They dont learn well from history, The DN01 = FLOP....VFR1200F= FLOP.

In this range, reintroduce the mighty blackbird... only with 13 or 1400cc, fully upgraded and adjustable suspension, redesigned lighting....= winner.

they are on friggen drugs.
