Yes,

and I thought nothing could be worse, until it happened to one of my boys. It was far more painful, knowing exactly how he felt and not being able to do a thing about it.

I, too, am feeling mellow. I thought I was having an unhappy day, but mellow sounds much better.

Yep

She took me looking at engagement rings checking that I liked the same styles she did. Almost bought one and was on the verge of asking her to marry me when she ended it.

I can understand why she did it, but it doesn't make it less painful.

A bit raw for me....

at the moment Snev as I've mentioned before. Just in the process of negotiating a financial settlement with my missus. Got a figure agreed the other day and now she has texted me saying she wants more. The saving grace for me is I have all the family and her parents on my side and now her mother has been telling me how unfaithful she was to her last husband so it makes me feel a bit better about losing her. Still hurts a lot though. Looking to pastures anew now though, comes a time when you have to start looking forward and not back. Life goes on, make the most of it. I'm still keeping my house, car and bike so I should be grateful for that!
