Kevin Schwantz rides Suzuki’s MotoGP bike

Texan legend Kevin Schwantz has given Suzuki his impressions of the Japanese factory’s new 1000cc MotoGP project at the Circuit of the Americas. The 1993 world 500cc champion took the opportunity to lap on the XRH-1 machine while Suzuki takes part in a special two-day test session at COTA in advance of its full-time return to MotoGP competition in 2015. A bit of a jolly for an old boy

Nigh on ten seconds off the pace. Any meaningful feedback for the factory? Of course not.

What this really serves to illustrate to us is the sheer stupidity of Quasimoto's repeated quoting of KR Snr on his very brief outing on a M1 a few years ago as if to somehow prove one of his weird points. If still racing Schwantz is ten seconds off the pace, just how much slower would've golf playing King Kenny have been?

Why?

Why was Schwantz riding and not Degrasse? Doesn't Suzuki know that Degrasse can fix any problems they would have, past present and future? Stoopid Zooki!

DeGrasse is a Yamaha man

They wouldn't let him ride the Suzy.

Are these guys doing any wild cards this year, or is just a year of testing?

My apologies then, I didn't realize he was a Yamaha man(blech), I just figured he had his head planted firmly in Rossi's four points of conact. Anytime someone goes off ranting about how much smarter they are than everyone else I end up thinking about soup.

People on here see Kevin's laptime and say thats rubish. But isn't at all. Bear in mind that he just jumped on the ting and put that time in straight away. Now imagine he wakes up every morning and rides it, that it was set up for him, that it had fresh rubber on.... The laptime would soon look pretty good.

Not a bad

lap time.  Don't want to toss it away.  And, Kevin's posture is still so very 80's!

Imagine..

if they put Stoner on it?

It'd only be 0.1 - 0.3s off after the first lap!
