Perhaps he should take some tips from Dovi, he managed to stay on the thing, Crutchlow has always crashed everything he has ridden, give someone else the seat !!

I think Ducati has the best pairing they can get with Dovi and Crutchlow , Dovi dependable fast on his day not slow on his off days , so usually strings a race together where the team can get information , and Cal who given a well set up bike is as fast as Rossi maybe Pedrosa so he works as a thermometer until hes smashed to pieces , then theres Brad Smith and Scott Redding waiting in the wings

Cal has never and will never be as fast as Rossi.

Cal is not as fast or reliable as Dovi.

Cal binned the tech3 Yamaha too many times, for a bike that handled very very well.

I am slowly becoming convinced that Ducati gave him a contract because at the time, nobody else would come and fill that second seat.

Cal is average at best and without debate will never be an alien

was never a good prospect for the Ducati, he's neither the right temperament nor the smooth riding style needed. A few fast laps is not going to do it, he needs to look for conistency and finish races.
