hi all I have a 2008 r1 that has no display,tacho speedo,just neutral light and indicators,cleaned all contacts,and block connectors,even by passed main wire to clocks but still nothing ? any ideas apart from ligher fluid ????

it happened after I rolled it out for 1st ride after winter.did an oil change two weeks earlier and it started fine, now no diplay tacho,warning lights are int on and off

Hi again

As Letterpigeon says, have you checked the fuses ? (you didn't answer) there is a main 50 amp fuse under the rider seat as well as the two 15 amp fuses in the starter relay(which I should think it won't be with the engine turning over on the starter motor)also the three fuse, fuse box under the left side fairing panel. Good Luck

(hasn't got an aftermarket alarm or immobiliser has it?)

hi yep all been checked,fuses,even re wired connector on left side,batt is good,but just cranks and no clocks ,tacho or warning lights......sending clocks of to be tested,if they come back ok its for parts on ebay and im buying a new gun,,,,,,
