Valentino Rossi to race on with new chassis

It may only offer a minimal gain in feeling on corner entry, but Valentino Rossi will continue to race a new Yamaha chassis he rode to a brilliant second place in Jerez last Sunday.Rossi spent more time on the new YZR-M1 frame on his way to finishing third quickest in a one-day post race test session at the Jerez track...

Jorge having to wait longer for upgrades....... If there was any doubt as to whether or not Jorge is saying goodbye to Yamaha next year then I think this confirms it, only question now is where will he go? Honda, Ducati or Suzuki??

It's more that it became urgent for Yamaha to correct the technical direction which they followed from Zeelenberg and Lorenzo since 2011, it didn't work out too well for them.

Lorenzo won his first title on an M1 developed by Rossi but last year after 3 years of being 1rst pilot, Yamaha lost both titles and they are not interested in a bike on which only one pilot can win.

Now i couldn't tell if he will leave or try to adapt to the new M1 because Honda will not be bending over backward for him and build a big 250 for him, they have the best balanced bike out there now.

Next year will be Marquez+Lorenzo in Repsol.Ducati  the same second quality riders.Suzuki with Pedrosa+ Iannone or some from Moto2. and Yamaha will takes their bollocs in their hands because they took  a 36 year old rider for two year to enjoy ungle Carmelo, and they didn't put a young rider to learn and to be ready to fight with Marquez this and next year.Pol Esp ? No way!! He can't win 93. Maybe Vinales from Moto2 or Miller from Moto3 they will be fight with Marquez the next years.

Go on Quasimoto

Roll out the Yamaha P.R dept Terrapin platitudes again.  JL also won on HIS bike - the 2012 M1. Moron. The 2014 Yamaha is also HIS bike, JL being the main Yamaha focus of developmental requirements. That M1 looks plenty good to me. It's JL that needs to sort himself out with the 2014 rear rubber - which he is in the process of doing. But perhaps Le Mans and another new rear construction will favour him more?

It would be a brave little bedwetter that put money on the Terrapin outpointing Lorenzo come seasons end.

What crap Yammy lost the title last year because Lorenzo didn't bounce has well as Marquez, the yammies a little cracker besting the Honda year in year out, Dovi Spies and Crutch cracked on with the satellites stuffing the sat Hondas also. the thought of Yammy an Rossi building a bike any rider can ride, err didn't that plan backfire big stile last time Rossi promised that to a manufacturer

Well at the mo

he(VR) is out pointing him(JL)by 26 points so if the terrapin is consistant, which so far he is, then it could be an uphill struggle for Jorge. Nice photos on another site yesterday of Jorge in the Ducati pit. Would you jump to Ducati for 12 ,000,000 euros or crack on at Yamaha for 4,000,000. Hmmmmm lets think about it shall we.

FCUK OFF, YUPPIE. I let spliffs to attention grabbers like you who don't know their head from their butts and write without informing themselves in the first place. Waste of good air.

Just in case you have shrite up to your eyes, last year Marquez scored the most poles and best laps times, plus he was disqualified in a race where he was also faster and was playing the title.

Guys like you like to rewrite records, but eh, it's Marquez who beats all of them first time in moto GP, not Lorenzo. Now go get stuffed.

@Nostro. Calling people morons is a poor attempt to associate by mediocrity, come back when you know what you're talking about.

money or pride Alexdebooooom

Id chase the Honda seat and take Marquez head on coz ye can guarantee Honda build a bike how they want, the rider after all is secondary to them, only brave man would take the Duc and the Sezook is and always will be years away in development
