Must say it's a proper little beauty! Just don't see the point in paying 3k for a 125, when you can pay a grand for a 125 for experience, then do your DAS or A2 for £600 and get yourself a bigger bike. It just seems like a waste of money to me.

A lad at work just did his CBT, got himself a brand new YZF-125, bought a K&N for it, a new exhaust and allsorts. Spent a good grand extra on it. Then turns round and goes "well, I'm doing my DAS in July"

waste of money

I must have spent about 1500 quid on my 2011 Duke 125...

I dont consider it a waste of money, but then it does all i ask, and i would prefer to ride to the bikes maximum ability then get a bigger bike...

kind of bored with people saying i should get a bigger bike...

i will post pics of it on here when its done

It's a shame they don't do 250/300cc

motors for these little bikes - best of both worlds

I Absolutely love the 09...... but believe the 07 is better sorted....this 01 will surely be a big seller in certain markets ..... I 've had a couple of young lads come up to me asking about the 09..... and I think that Yamaha are absolutely spot on with their Marketing and brave new direction......

It'll be a good commuter bike for inner cities

and on the continent little bikes seem to rule so hopefully there's a good market for it - I'm just nostalgic for the 250s of old
