it makes

Perfect sense that Suzuki would want Dovi to ride their new bike, he's a proven quantity over the last seven years, is vastly experienced at this level and wil produce solid results.

iF they threw the cheque book at it and signed one of the top four, they when put themselves under  tremendous pressure to produce results.

Dovi is the perfect choice

Weight of expectation Rainy

You'l youve a got a bike you KNOW is gonna ace the competition its fool hardy to sign a rider everyone will expect to be a race winner.

Dovi record places him afew percent below the very top boys (but not much) his Tech3 record was brilliant and his consistent performances on a very poor Ducati show he's solid top Five, the perfect choice for a factory who are re entering the game

Christ it was'nt long ago people were claiming i should/would be Spies on the Suzuki, and how poor is his record next to Dovi's.......

Absolutely spot on CCB..

..get Andrew to do the leg work in the first year and then sign someone in the second, who has the pace to come in and close the deal. That's obviously what Ducati were thinking..

I like your style Rainy, on the last two  comments, you managed to get in that Dovi is only a second tier man

Ducati's thinking?

When's it going to happen? When's Crutchlow ever gonna "close the deal"?

Or is that more irony? Hahahahahaha, f*ckin' clown.
