Dani Pedrosa remains keen on new Honda deal

Dani Pedrosa remains adamant his priority is to remain an official factory Honda rider in 2015. The Spaniard has been linked with a lucrative switch to lead Suzuki’s new 1000cc project, but he is keen to secure a new deal with HRC, despite the prospect of having to take a big pay cut. Serious talks between Honda and Pedrosa will kick off...

Uccio will be fondling the rod and plumping the worm while Flo gets his tackle ready and his drag set.

No #2 at HRC

The reason Rossi left HRC is because they wouldn't give him #1 status, that's not the way they operate. They even gave Gibernau a full factory bike and he was in a different team. They want and need a two man factory effort for maximum development so both riders get whatever HRC can give them, they both have the same choices.

Pedrosa will need to step up and give Marquez some serious challenge or he will be gone, but he has the same issues as Lorenzo with the new tyres, ostensibly a high corner speed 250 natural style, albeit not quite as reliant on it as Lorenzo thanks to Stoners input when he was his team mate.

Going to Suzuki would be a good move for Pedrosa, if the bike works he will get the plaudits, if it doesn't then it's the bikes fault as he is a proven alien.
