Your German must be better than mine, that's not how I read the Speedweek article.

As far as I could tell, it says Rabat is contracted to VDS for 2015, but has an option to leave if offered a prototype Yamaha or Honda. Can't see anywhere in the article that Miller is signed for a Moto2 ride. Are we reading the same thing?

Rabat is contracted to VDS for 2015, Kallio's contract is end of this year. Miller signed to VDS for 3 years last year but wanted another year in Moto3 so is racing for Aki Ajo's Moto3 team as the VDS moto3 is not a title contender. If VDS do step up to Motogp then it would be with Rabat. If not it will be Rabat and Miller in Moto2 ( Unless either get offered a Motogp ride elsewhere)

Cool, that makes a bit more sense now. Lots of 'ifs' there - so Miller's contract with VDS was based on his stock last year? Wonder how big a carrot HRC are thinking of dangling for him. Couple of years in Moto2 would probably be the wisest move for him though.

Also

VDS are talking to Honda about running the super RCV1000R with pnuematic valves as well as a Yamaha engine in the Kalex frame.

I think you're wrong there Huw. Grid slot is the one thing they don't have.
