Hi everyone,

I have recently parted company with my Sprint ST after a few years and fancied a change to a supermoto. The issue I have at present is which one!!

I have had a look at a few options and the one i like the look of is the duke 2, although I am a little put off by the horror stories I have read about maintenance and engine rebuild's. Do all SM's engines only last around 25k before needing a rebuild?

The majority of the riding I will be doing is just commuting to and from work, and I like to ride my bike not clean it, so most days it will be put straight away after using it.

So I suppose what I am after is something that doesn't take a lot of looking after or maintaining (2-3k is fine), but yet something that will be a load of fun to ride and won't cost me a fortune after only a few hundred miles of use!

Any advice would be welcome

Whats your budget?

I used to have a Sprint ST 1050 and then swapped it for a Tiger 800 and haven't looked back. Its fast enough for the real world, light and practical and utterly reliable. Go to your local Triumph dealer for a test ride!
