Perhaps, but............................

I always thought that Honda started off immediately post war with a bicycle type machine, fitted with army surplus generator / concrete mixer engine.

 

That one looks a bit too polished to be their first effort.  Perhaps it's the first when they made their own engine?

Honda have themselves posted this as being there first Mobike, am with you guys and thought it was a bicycle sort of thing, but that picture is what they posted on the Honda official site:wacko:

Did it double as a searchlight during the war, looking for Yank bombers. The headlight aim would suggest so. Oh, and if it was 4 to 8 years earlier.
