I don't like bikes racing around F1 tracks, but as long as they don't do the stupid chicane before the final corner, I guess one little change won't be too bad. Riders against it have been arguing it could lead to some big incidents on the first lap, but I don't understand why it would be any different from the current configuration. Surely the riders will still have the same opportunity to pass as they do currently? In the interests of safety, I'd say screw that, and stop ruining wonderful race tracks with 1st gear hairpins designed to encourage fake racing by F1 cars.
