Crutchlow to remain with Ducati for 2015

Cal Crutchlow has confounded paddock speculation by confirming in a special event at World Ducati Week in Misano that he will take the option in his contract to remain with the Bologna team for the 2015 MotoGP season. Best 2 riders available by far. Now then lets hope the all new bike for next year gets these guys to where they should be. Desmo valves in the R8 and a set of pneumatic valves on the bike?

Sensible choice for team & riders

It's easy to give up in the face of adversity.  Whether it's personal opinion or factual observation (despite his moans) almost all of the DNFs (including Mugello due to the inflating tyre) were down to mechanical issues and nothing to do with Cal.  The Sachensring was a better reflection of his pace with a dialed in set-up.  He's had a string of bad luck - just not helped with his choice of words afterwards.

I am expecting better things in the 2nd half of the season.  He's obviously motivated by Dovi's (excellent) performance and understands the machines potential so why would he give up when a new (and improved) package is coming in 4 months time?  And still be the highest paid Brit in the last 20 years for another 18 months at least.  I'm excited to see what he can do with it on a day he & Andrea are both on the pace (Great TV and great for Ducati).

Kind of a no brainer really....

Rubbish Noddy ...

... Classy Dovi has always been the clear No.1, but Iannone's been hard done by - he's way better than the commoner, but Crutchlow's hanging-on by his dirty finger-nails. The boy has no shame.

Rejected by Yamaha and not wanted by Honda - nor Ducati, this year is his last.

Benny

Do you mean this year is his last 2014... or next year being the 2nd year of his Ducati contract in 2015...

Clearly wanted by

Ducati who must value his input.

Like all bfore he is having a tough first year but Ducati have faith, just like they did when Dovi was known as the spotted winger last year when he could not get his head around the Ducati.

Iannone will have a factory bike bext year, same as this year.
