BikeChatForums offensive forum?

I joined UK BikeChatForums today and asked two simple questions admittedly basic but looking for help; what I received was quite astonishing... take a look at this

http://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?p=3958053#3958053

what do we think on MCN of some of the posts and language used; I have since asked for my account to be deleted and on the hunt for a helpful forum; am I in the wrong place on MCN or can I count on a more civilised interaction experience?

Welcome sqarider

This place can get a bit tetchy, as i'm guessing all internet forums can.
However, if you are in need of technical advice the guys on here are very helpful no matter how basic the question.
No one is born with great mechanical skills and everything is a learning curve.
Scroll down to technical and I'm sure someone will help you.

Dullsville riders

are ok. As long as you're not a 'Dull' dullsville rider :winkie:
I would like to point out that was not 'tetchy' just a bit of banter between the colonies and non colonies and two consenting 'homo sapiens sapiens'

I'm with Jaffa........................

If you'd like advice and answers to your questions then post the questions, however if you're just trying to expand a petty argument from one forum across others then you're probably in the right place to do it.

Post the questions and give us a chance to be good guys, because some of us don't care who said what to who on what forum!

And welcome!  Shad.
