After I put 38,000 miles on my first street bike, I moved up to a Kawasaki KZ440LTD. I had a succession of 3 440s because they just fit me so well and I could modify them to fit my own unique ergonomic requirements. This is my first KZ440. I put about 35.000 miles on this one. The next one I got 45,000 miles out of it, and the last one I restored I put 10,000 miles on it before I got a 1988 Gold Wing in 1997. People would tell me many times "you can't tour on a 250/440...", yet I rode those bikes all over the western US and Canada.
