2001 CBR600 recalled

1 of 1

Following on the heels of a worldwide recall of FireBlades to correct faulty clutches, Honda’s reputation as the world’s most reliable motorcycle manufacturer has taken another knock.

The firm has issued a rectification notice for their newly released CBR600F-1 over fears that a badly fitted fuel line could rupture with potentially disastrous consequences.

The problem is due to the incorrect fitting of a fuel return hose.

Honda says this is only a precautionary measure and concerns only a very few UK machines.

Dealers will notify owners whose bikes are thought to be at risk. The work takes half an hour and will be carried out free of charge.
