KTM revealed the RC8 Venom, a new naked protoype bike based on the RC8, at the Munich Bike Show on Tuesday morning (September 14).

The bike is still in a concept stage but could easily be developed from the RC8 sports bike which has now reached pre-production.

The firm finally revealed the completed version of its 990 Superduke – and it will be on sale in the UK this December.

The V-twin has had its capacity upped to 999cc – but remains called “990”.

The motor gets fuel injection and makes a claimed 118bhp – making it the most powerful production bike KTM has ever built . It weighs 184kg.

KTM wants to charge around £7700 for it.

The firm also revealed its 950 Supermoto using a compact new 942cc V-twin engine, so far available only in the Paris-Dakar style 950 Adventure big trailie.

It weighs 189kg and will top 140mph. It`s likely to cost around £7400 yet comes with fully adjustable upside-down forks and Brembo radial calipers. UK dealers expect to be stocking them in April next year.
