Bimota DB5 due soon

1 of 1

Bimota will use the Munich motorcycle show in September to show the prototype for its latest road bike, the DB5.

The new bike will be based around a Ducati 1000DS v-twin engine, which currently powers the Multistrada, 1000SS and Monster 1000, and will feature a trellis frame and unique tubular trellis swing-arm.

The Aluminium frame and swing-arm will be combined with full Ohlins suspension and an underseat exhaust system, and the bodywork will be kept minimal so you can see the engine at work.

The Bimota stand will also show the SB8K and the Tesi 2D hub-centre steered bike.
