Steampunk MV Agusta Café racer

Seeing a custom bike take shape in the workshop is always fascinating, even more so when the builder is someone as talented and as individual as Chabott Engineering owner Shinya Kimura.

Formally of Zero Engineering Japan, Shinya moved to Azusa, California in
2006 and has been busy producing his organically crafted steampunk style motorcycles for Hollywood A-listers.

His latest creation is based around a 750cc 1970’s MV Agusta.

The bike is in the very early stages of construction but it’s already evident Shinya hasn’t restrained his flamboyant style adding an ‘X-wing’ style hand beaten cockpit fairing, scalloped tank and seat unit.

You can follow the build as it progresses on Shinya’s blog here
