Britain's Got Biking Talent opens for entries

1 of 1

The UK’s biggest search for the UK’s best bikes begins now – and this is how you can be in with a chance of winning fame and glory for you and your bike.

Thousands of bikes entered in the first two years of Britain’s Got Biking Talent with Carole Nash, with stunning machines ranging from carefully restored classics through to track-ready sports bikes, and hardcore streetfighters to laid-back choppers. You don’t have to have home-built every component (though we’d be impressed if you did!), but as long as the bike is your own we’re looking for any bike with the style and detail to impress our panel of expert judges.

Entry to Britain’s Got Biking Talent with Carole Nash simple – if you’re not already a user of the MCN website, create a user profile following the simple instructions, then click here and upload a picture showing your bike in its best light – take it good daylight with the sun behind you in an uncluttered area – people won’t vote if there’s a kids bike in the way! You can also input a brief specification, and a YouTube video can also be added to give your bike more chance of bringing in votes.

Uploading is now open – the first 500 will receive an Oxford Magnimate sidestand puck, which is magnetic to stick to your side-stand, plus one of the 500 picked at random will receive nearly £300 worth of Oxford Lifetime soft luggage!

The overall winner of Britain’s Got Biking Talent with Carole Nash, as picked by MCN readers and expert judges, will be crowned at the Carole Nash NEC Motorcycle Show in November as well winning a long weekend at a European MotoGP round of their choice, grandstand seats, paddock access, pit lane visits and much more – all courtesy of Pole Position Travel.

The runner–up gets a free trip with Mci tours to the French Battlefields for two people, or – if they prefer – £500 off a fly-ride holiday. Third place gets a free place on a Motorsport Vision track day at any one of five circuits.

The top 12 bikes will have professional pictures taken to feature in the Carole Nash 2010 calendar and at the NEC Show, professional photographs taken. For full details as well as terms and conditions of the competition, click here. Your chance to enter ends on August 14 2009.

How it works
1) Upload your bike’s pictures and specifications here
2) Expert judges pick the top 10 bikes in each category
3) MCN readers vote online to decide the top 12 bikes (for the Carole Nash calendar) and the overall winner
