Is this the world’s longest Buell?

1 of 1

This remarkable creation started life as a 2003 Buell XB9S – the American-built roadster, famed for its fast steering and stumpy wheelbase. It has now changed somewhat, having been stretched by a whopping 11 inches.

The V-twin Buell engine sits in a heavily modified Zodiac Sportail frame and the headstock is cut and reworked to allow the Buell forks to be used. This also allows the Buell rim-mounted disc brake to be retained.

The main frame tube is also modified to allow the fuel injection to run down through the fuel tank and the air filter to sit on top of the tank. It has a chain drive conversion and a BSL stainless silencer and exhaust.
