Poll: Which is the fastest superbike of 2010?

Since the introduction of new contenders like BMW’s new S1000RR, Aprilia’s new RSV4R and MV Agusta’s all-new F4 1000, the question every sportsbike fan has been asking is: Which is the quickest 2010 superbike?

To find out we took part in the first track test of all the 2010 superbike contenders from Europe and Japan. We thashed all nine bikes over a full three days at the fabulous, brand new, Motorland 5.2km race track in Aragon, Spain.

The rules: each manufacturer was allowed to set-up their bike’s suspension accordingly and fit their choice of road legal tyre. And as a variety of riders, including international level racers, were involved, we not only logged each bike’s fastest time, but also an average of its times with the different riders. The fastest average time determined our winner. We’re not concerned about comfort, tank range, build quality etc. here, this is about one thing – speed.
