Motorcycling charity Riders for Health has received a new bike paid for by MCN readers that will deliver medical supplies to remote African villages.

MCN Editor Marc Potter handed the cheque for £3495 to RfH founders Barry and Andrea Coleman in April, and has now been spent on a new Yamaha AG100. The bike is already in service helping save lives in the Gambia.

The money came from sales of the one-off Valentino Rossi magazine sold by MCN last year, as well as tickets from the MCN Awards in November 2008.
