Poetry in motion

It may seem an unlikely choice, but the latest celebrity to take up riding as part of the industry’s Get On campaign is poet Tamsin Kendrick.

Kendrick, 26, who is billed as one of Britain’s most promising poets, learnt to ride on National Poetry Day, so that she can zip from gig to gig.

The men behind the Get On campaign hope seeing her ride will encourage people who would not usually consider biking to take up their offer of a free taster session and take on life on two wheels.
