Honda dealers slash £4,000 off price of DN-01

Honda’s automatic cruiser the DN-01 has had £4,000 wiped of its list price.

When it was launched the v-twin carried a £10,521 price tag. Today you can pick a 59 plate model for just £6,695.

Doble’s Honda dealership in Coulsdon, Surrey, is offering them for just £6,999 OTR, while Hunt’s of Manchester is flogging a demo bike with just 427 miles on the clock for £6,695.

Paul Styles, partner at Doble, said: “This bike is now quite old stock, and I think the original price tag of initially £9,300 and then £10,300  put people off.

“But now people are starting to take advantage of this offer, and are essentially getting a £10,000 bike for less than £7,000.”

Doble has just sold two bikes to the NHS to be used as blood running machines and seen greater interest in the bikes since the offer was launched then ever before.
Buyer, Adam Metzler from London, was amazed at the deal he got.

“That £3,000 plus saving is much better in my pocket than Japan Honda’s,” he said.

The DN-01’s new £6,000 price tag plunges it in to a new market. Here is a list of some of its new competition:
