Video: Yamaha TZR250 built at Carole Nash MCN Motorcycle Show

A two-stroke restoration specialist built a Yamaha TZR250 3XV from the ground up in four days at the Carole Nash MCN Motorcycle Show – and started it first kick on the final day.

Wayne Pipe of Cider County Strokers does nut-and-bolt two-stroke restorations for £2000 upwards using original parts sourced from Japan and Malaysia.

As the show started on Thursday, the TZR was stripped to its frame and crank cases.

Pipe said after starting it on Sunday: “I was a bit worried about the smoke.”
