4000 miles round Britain on a C90

An MCN reader plans to ride round the entire coast of Britain on a Honda C90 to raise money for the RNLI – that’s a total of 4000miles.

Kevin Hancock, 39, sets off on May 1 and optimistically says he will complete the trip in two weeks.

This works out as 285 miles a day, which means he’ll be riding for a minimum of eight hours a day if he averages 35mph… which he won’t because the C90 only does 50mph flat-out and he’s planning to visit 172 lifeboat stations along the way and they’re all at the end of wiggly little roads.

He’s got a website where you can pledge money for possibly the most unhinged charity ride ever. It’s www.justgiving.com/numbumring
