Ace Café Burn Up swamps Brighton

This is the scene in Brighton yesterday when almost 20,000 bikers joined the Ace Café annual run to the coast.  

The weather was kind with blue skies all day for the  traditional Brighton Burn-Up, and organiser Mark Wilsmore reckoned it rated as one of the biking highlights of the year.

He said: “It’s one of the few events in Europe that showcases almost every genre of motorbikes and it’s a definite must see event on the biking calendar.”

Wilsmore had ridden in from the continent escorting a huge convoy of European bikers for the run to Brighton: ‘Some bikers have made trips from as far afield as New Zealand , Lithuania and Norway and I can honestly say that this is the most exhausting fun I’ve had on a bike for ages.”
