Triumph Tiger 800XC owner Phil Evans today set off to ride his bike from the Jack Lilley showroom in Ashford, Middlesex to the Triumph factory…in Thailand!

Evans is raising money for a charity called The Lewy Body Society which aims to help with treatment for this little known disease.

Evans said: “I’ll be riding a Triumph Tiger 800XC from London to Bangkok in Thailand in the Spring and Summer of 2011 finishing up at the Triumph factory in Chonburi. I’ll be travelling about 11,000 miles in total taking in Europe, Slovakia, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhhstan, China, Laos and Thailand.

“I’d like to raise some money in the process for a charity, so if you are reading this, please spare a moment and a few quid for The Lewy Body Society. My father passed away two years ago from this little known disease.”
