Video: The Tough One Extreme Enduro

The Tough One is billed as the UK’s “only proper Extreme Enduro” and with a boulder-strewn, tree and log littered track that incorporates  “a huge scaffold erection with hanging tyres and human size and weight dummies, suspended from the sky” that specially trained marshalls will fire at the riders, we don’t doubt that it lives up to its name.

Returning to Nantmawr Quarry, near Oswestry in Shropshire on Sunday 15th January, the Tough One is now in its eighth year and is recognised as one of the five main Extreme events in the world, attracting some of the best riders from the world of enduro.

You can get a sense of just how challenging the race is in this preview video:

The racing kicks off at 11am and the main event sets off at 3pm, lasting into the evening darkness, when the riders will run under floodlights until the end of the 2.5 hour race. For more information and ticket details visit: www.worevents.com
