Brit Superbike legends of the ’90s in new TV show

July 4, 7pm – make a note in your diary now! ITV4 is showing a new documentary that celebrates the British dominance of bikesport in the 1990s.

As you’d expect, ‘Superbikes! When Britain Ruled the World’ features four-times World Superbike champ Carl Fogarty heavily, as he led the charge of the Brit pack.

Away from the short circuits, the TV program also features the glory of the Isle of Man TT.

We’re promised the lid will be lifted on a decade of magical moments, hair raising racing, personality clashes, inflated egos and rivalry that often went a step too far.

Priceless anecdotes abound, from the likes of Frankie Chili, Foggy, Neil Hodgson, Keith Huewen, Julian Ryder and James Whitham, as well as some stunning archive footage and a cool nineties Britpop soundtrack.

Book your spot on the sofa, disconnect the phone and get the beers in.
