Salon Prive, the UK’s premier Concours d’Elegance competition returns to Syon Park, London from 5-7 September 2012, and they’re looking for bikes to enter this year’s categories.

This year there are two classes for motorcycles. Class I is ‘V-twins through the ages’, while Class II is ‘Important competition machines’.

‘V-twins through the ages’ is open to any v-twin motorcycle of any age or origin, two-stroke or four-stroke.

‘Important competition machines’ is open to successful competition bikes from any discipline of motorcycle sport.

Last year the bike categories were; ’10 decades of Isle of Man TT bikes’, which included John McGuinness’s Honda TT Legends Fireblade complete with dead Isle of Man flies, and ‘Bikes from the Steve McQueen Era’, which included a genuine 1966 Metisse, Indian Scout and Husqvarna 400.

All machines entered must be able to run under their own power and must be close to original condition. For race bikes the ideal condition is as the bike finished its final race.
