This week’s column from Richard Hammond is a corker, with the TV star letting you into some of the inner-most secrets of his bike-addled brain.

Here’s a brief look at what’s on offer in Wednesday’s paper: ‘Okay, well I’ve spent a bit of time on the head-doctor’s couch recently, so ’fessing up to my innermost thoughts and feelings shouldn’t be too hard.

Here goes: I first got into biking twenty years ago because I thought it was a bit rebellious.

I’m not saying I went cruising the mean streets of Harrogate on my 50cc Honda thinking I was a Jimmy Dean rebel without a cause, well maybe I did, a bit, but I certainly never owned a leather hat…’
