Border road named as Britain's fastest

The A74 on the England/Scotland border has been named as the UK’s fastest stretch of road with vehicles travelling at an average of 72.2mph.

The study, by satellite navigation company Trafficmaster, named the M6 Toll road as the second fastest road, followed by the M45 in the West Midlands.
