Manchester ‘pay-as-you-drive’ verdict today

1 of 1

The Greater Manchester Public Transport Executive is to make a decision today whether to charge a congestion fee in the city centre.

If the proposals get the go-ahead, drivers will pay £2 to get into an ‘outer zone’ of the city, then a further £1 to get into the city centre at peak times. Another £1 would be charged for leaving the zones.

The decision will be announced later today – keep checking motorcyclenews.com for updates.
