Picture gallery: VR-2 and Diablo 666

These two cool looking motorcycles are the work of Christian Tavert, a motorcycle racer turned engineer from Florida.

The cruiser-like motorcycle is the VR-2, which has been designed by Australian Tim Cameron. Tavert will be putting the bike into production with the engine from a Harley Daivdson V-Rod.

The second bike you see is Tim Cameron’s Diablo 666, based on a Ducati Supermono racer, but with a 666cc engine and a supercharger.

The original idea was to use a V-twin engine, but Cameron chose to use a single-cylinder engine because ‘that is where all bikes came from’ he says.
