Picture gallery: Restored 1960s Ulster GP motorcycles

After jostling for position in the 1968 Grand Prix season, this 1967 Crooks Suzuki TR250 and 1966 Padgett’s Yamaha TDIC were packed away and forgotten about until a Manchester race fan set about restoring and re-uniting them.

Martyn Harris acquired the 1967 Crooks Suzuki TR250, raced by John Cooper, a decade ago, and after a string of chance encounters got his hands on the 1966 Padgett Yamaha TDIC and a stack of memorabilia to go with both.

“I have always been interested in collecting bikes from the 1960s as they remind me of my childhood,” he said.
