Centurion celebrates with Harley Davidson ride

A Cornwall-based woman played catch-up to Harley Davidson last week, with a ride around Bude on the back of a friend’s cruiser to celebrate her 100th birthday, local press reports state.

Muriel Woolner used to ride herself, and took the pillion run as part of a day of celebrations of her century.

The irony is that Harley Davidson is commemorating its 105th anniversary in 2008, which could mean Woolner is one of the oldest riders to take a run on a bike from one of the world’s oldest motorcycling brands.
