Ducati Streetfighter and Aprilia RSV4 hit showrooms

The hotly anticipated Ducati Streetfighter and Aprilia RSV4 Factory will be launched in UK dealerships this week.

The 155hp Streetfighter will make its debut on Saturday May 9, while the Aprilia will be in showrooms from Thursday May 14.

Ducati dealers will be holding special launch events over the weekend. Its Manchester dealership will be showing the bike off at the Thundersprint in Northwich, Cheshire, on Sunday with a guest appearance by Corrie star Jimmi Harkishin.

Ducati Glasgow has sent out invites to 6,000 people to visit the showroom over the launch weekend to check out the new 1098-based naked bike.

Aprilia will host a special launch evening at dealerships throughout the UK on Thursday May 14.

This is the first chance to see the 999cc World Superbike Championship designed bike in the flesh in the UK.
