Kawasaki officially release 2011 ZX-10R racer pictures

These first official pictures of the new ZX-10R race bike have just been released by Kawasaki.

The pictures come just as Kawasaki R&D department prepares itself for a 2-day test at the Suzuka race track in Japan.

The 2-day test will be used to further refine the bike for the 2011 WSB Championship.

As we revealed in the 23 June issue of MCN, the road version is said to boast over 190bhp and weigh in at 198kg – 10kg lighter than the current model.

As a result we’re looking at a relatively tiny litre bike – think Aprilia RSV4 or BMW S1000RR.

We’ll have more news on the new bike as we get it, so check back soon for updates.
