Honda unveils two official TT tribute Fireblades

Honda used the opening of a new dealer in Farnham to pull the wraps off two new Isle of Man TT tribute bikes that are now officially available to buy.

The two bikes have been built to celebrate the success of John McGuinness and Ian Hutchinson – two of the most successful TT racers of all time.

They were both there to unveil the bikes at Farnham Honda. The bikes are now official Honda bikes and can be bought through any Honda dealer and will cost £1000 over the list price of either the C-ABS equipped bike or the non-ABS Fireblade.

Hutchinson broke the all-time record at the Isle of Man TT races this year by winning five in a week with McGuinness being one of the all time greats with 15 TT wins and the first rider to lap the 37.7 mile course at an average speed of over 130mph.

They will also be joined by Honda development rider Dave Hancock who was involved in the testing of the original Fireblade in 1992.

Neil Foster, dealer principal at Farnham Honda, said: “The weekend was a great success and we were really surprised by the number of people who turned up. We are all really tired now but it was a fantastic weekend for everyone we hope.”
