Rumours of a rebirth of the serious small-capacity sportsbike led by KTM have circulated for ages, and we’re glad to see they’re well founded. Sort of.

Sadly it’s not the longed-for official RC4 they have actually been evaluating, but a home-brewed supermono created in idle hours by KTM R&D engineers. 80bhp/140kg.

Now all we need is the marketing department to get behind it.
