Ducati Monster 1100 Evo lands in UK

Ducati’s latest big-bore, air-cooled Monster, the 1100 Evo, has arrived in UK Ducati dealers – and at MCN’s office door. MCN is currently testing the new £10,119 Monster 1100 Evo on UK roads and it will feature in MCN issue 11 May.

Ducati has built and sold a shade under a quarter-of-a-million (246,483 recorded as of February end 2011) Monsters of varying capacities since the Monster’s inception in 1993.

Included in MCN’s Monster 1100 Evo feature is a potted-history of famous Monster models, from the original 1993 ‘Il Mostro’ to the powerhouse water-cooled S4RS.
