Akrapovič releases new showcase custom

Akrapovič has stepped into the world of custom bike building with this one-off showpiece: the Morsus.

A scorpion-themed blend of titanium, stainless steel and carbon fibre, the builders of renowned race-exhaust systems describe the bike as a “statement of intent” and a “natural extension of what we do”.

Award-winning designer Tomaž Capuder of Dreamachine Motorcycles said: “I admire the work of Igor Akrapovič very much and I wanted to bring together the two worlds of racing and custom design. The whole project was quite challenging, but I’m quite happy with the final result as the body of the bike from many angles looks like a Scorpion.”

The Morsus isn’t for sale, instead it will be touring a host of custom events from Sturgis to Milan to promote Akrapovič’s new line of Harley-Davidson exhaust systems due to hit the market this summer.
