German tuning firm builds KTM RC4 690R track machine

German tuners Mototech has developed this fairing, suspension and handlebar kit which fits the outgoing KTM Duke 690 to turn it into a trackday weapon with 70bhp and weighing just 125kg.

It’s basically a lightweight, faired track bike which costs £4000 for the kit and with secondhand examples of the KTM Duke 690 available for a little over £4000 it could make a realistic trackday option for someone looking for something a little different.

But what do MCN readers think? Is this the sort of bike people would be interested in buying or is it just a folly?
