Biiista electric bike nearing launch

Say hello to the Biiista, an electric bike developed by Austrian firm Hammerschmid Maschienebau which is due to be launched soon.

With a claimed 60mph top speed and 60 mile range, this futuristic electric bike weighs 140kg and makes 14bhp with 154lbft of torque.

Not brilliant figures when compared to the recently unveiled Brammo Empulse R and Mission Motors Mission R.
