Jumping the Verzasca Dam with MCN

This jump was featured in the opening scene of the James Bond film Goldeneye. It is the highest bungee jump in the world at 220 metres (720 ft) with a free fall of 7.5 seconds! Here we are relaxing with a copy of MCN while we get ready to jump!

My boyfriend and I travelled to Switzerland purly to make this jump. The jump itself was a graduation present for me from my boyfriend as I have just finished university. Clearly a well thought out plan by him as now he knew that silly old me had to do it!

With cancelled flights and cold nights on the airport floor, trying our hardest not to sustain piles, we arrived in a small town called Locarno. The very next day we were to jump, though this time, I had the well thought out plan of making him jump first, genius. Its fair to say everything went swimingly and it is by far the scariest thing I have done to date!
