A lucky escape

A little while ago I was speeding at 3am in the morning, on a clear night and clear road. As I passed a garage I noticed a police car’s lights come on that was parked between cars that were for sale (waiting for somebody like me).

I checked my speed immediately and took the next road to the right to stop safely. As I got off the bike the police car pulled round the corner. He must have been very quick off the mark to catch me up. He asked me if I was in a hurry! I apoligised. He commented on my quick reaction and oservation at seeing them and gave me a dressing down and sent me on my way with no fine or points (thank you sir). I was good as gold for months!
